This policy explains how Artrok collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile marketplace application. By using Artrok, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the marketplace. Here is a summary of the data we process:

How We Use Your Data
Your information is used exclusively to:
- Create and manage your account
- Verify your identity via SMS one-time password (OTP) during sign-in
- Display your product listings to other users
- Allow our admins to review listings for compliance with our Terms & Conditions
- Coordinate offline payment and shipment between buyers and sellers
- Send transactional push notifications related to your listings or account activity
- Send transactional emails related to your account or orders
- Improve app performance through anonymised analytics
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

Camera Access
Artrok requests access to your device's camera solely to allow you to photograph items you wish to list for sale. Camera access is optional — you may also upload images from your device gallery. We do not record video, stream footage, or access your camera at any time other than when you explicitly initiate a photo upload inside the app.

Phone Number & SMS Verification
If you choose to sign in using your phone number, Artrok will collect and store your phone number for the sole purpose of sending a one-time password (OTP) via SMS to verify your identity. This verification is handled by our own secure infrastructure — we do not use a third-party authentication provider for this feature.
Your phone number is:
- Used exclusively for sign-in verification
- Never used for marketing, promotional SMS, or sold to third parties
- Deleted along with your account data when you request account deletion

Push Notifications
Artrok may request permission to send you push notifications on your device. Notifications are used strictly for transactional purposes, such as:
- Status updates on your submitted listings (approved, rejected, or under review)
- Important account-related alerts
You can manage or revoke notification permissions at any time through your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Apps → Artrok → Notifications
- iOS: Settings → Notifications → Artrok
Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the app or access your listings.

Anonymity & Marketplace Safety
Artrok is designed with user anonymity in mind. Buyers and sellers on the platform do not have access to each other's personal information. The app does not include an in-app chat feature — all post-transaction coordination is handled offline by our admins.
All product listings submitted by users are reviewed by our moderation team before being published. Listings that do not comply with our Terms & Conditions, which are displayed at the login screen, will be rejected.
Payments and shipments are facilitated offline by our admins. No online payment processing occurs inside the application, and we do not store payment credentials of any kind.

Third-Party Services
We rely on the following trusted third-party providers. Each has their own privacy policy governing their data practices:
- Firebase (Google LLC) — user authentication and anonymised in-app usage analytics. Firebase Privacy Policy ↗
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — collects anonymised data about how users interact with the app, including session duration, screen views, and device information (OS version, device model). These providers are contractually bound to process data only as instructed by us, and only for the purposes described in this policy.

Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When your account is deleted:
- Your profile information (name, email) is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Your product listings and associated images are removed from public view immediately and purged within 30 days
- Anonymised analytics data, which cannot be linked back to you, may be retained for up to 12 months for internal reporting purposes

Your Rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — request permanent erasure of your account and associated data
- Objection — object to certain processing activities

Account Deletion
You have the right to permanently delete your Artrok account and all associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to do this:
- In-app: Navigate to your profile settings and use the "Delete Account" option
- Online form: Submit the request form below — useful if you no longer have access to the app
⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your personal data will be erased. If you have active listings or pending transactions, please ensure these are resolved before submitting a deletion request.

Children's Privacy
Artrok is not directed at users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under that age. If you believe a child under 18 has created an account, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account and all associated data promptly.
